Linda graduated from University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 1986 in Community Health Education where she became passionate about teaching health and wellness for all ages. Her internship included teaching chair exercises at an elderly complex and it was then that she knew this was the age group she loved to work and engage in the most.
Later, Linda went on to get her Associate Degree in 2012 and Bachelor’s Degree from UW-Oshkosh in 2016 in Nursing, with her daughter’s story being her biggest inspiration. Linda shares that her daughter was born with a very rare syndrome and passed away at the age of nineteen after only being given a year to live at birth.
“She was my greatest teacher who showed me you don’t have to speak to communicate, to be patient and accept all abilities of others, and that it’s hard to trust others to take care of your loved ones, but it is sometimes necessary and can be beneficial for all involved.”
Linda and her husband live in Oak Creek, WI and enjoy golfing, watching sports, and traveling. They are both very involved in the Lions Club International and both serve as board members. Serving the community and giving back has always been important to them because of all the support they have received throughout the years. Linda looks forward to becoming a part of this Azura team and serving our Oak Creek residents and families.
