Azura of Oak Creek Dementia Series

November is National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness and Family Caregivers Month. This month in particular helps bring to light the importance of Alzheimer’s awareness, education and support for those touched by this disease and the many who provide care to those affected. Azura Memory Care is proud to have worked with many exceptional partners throughout the year to provide free educational presentations to local family caregivers, healthcare professionals and the general public to help with this effort.

This month, Azura of Oak Creek will be kicking-off its 3-Part Dementia Series welcoming two speakers from the dementia and elder care fields who will be sharing their insight on the disease, what to do when a diagnosis has been made and the new research initiatives happening right here in Wisconsin.

Azura Memory Care of Oak Creek will be hosting all three events at the Oak Creek Public Library, located at 8040 S. 5th Street in Oak Creek, on  Thursday, November 29th, December 6th and December 13th from 6 to 7 p.m. Admission is free and attendees can come to any or all presentations. Refreshments will be provided and no reservations are required! Topics and speakers include:
