Rym Soltani, HR Generalist at the Support Center, has been absolutely exceptional at helping recruit and RETAIN the finest, especially when other HR team members have been out. Rym has filled those gaps flawlessly.

Her nominator stated, “Marissa is a new homemaker, but you would never know she’s
new. She engages the residents in activities and is already assisting with QOL activities after her
homemaker duties are completed. Marissa is kind and respectful to everyone she meets and helps
out in any way that she is needed. She is creative and shares her compassion and joy with all of
the residents to ensure they, too, experience joy for themselves.”

John Zey, Maintenance Lead at Azura Memory Care of Eau Claire, is extremely
INNOVATIVE and is always looking for ways to enhance the life of residents.
His nominator said, “When visiting Eau Claire, I noticed John with a group of residents
at the dining room table having a snack and leading a discussion. I thought it was remarkable that
the maintenance lead took time out of his day to create a moment of joy for all the residents. Just
watching John interact with the residents, you can tell that he truly cares about them!”

Jake Smith, Team Lead at Azura Memory Care of Eau Claire, has been an amazing help
to the success of the Eau Claire team!
His nominator stated, “Due to the transition between RN’s, there was quite a backlog of
medications that needed to be destroyed. When I saw this, I felt like it was going to be an
overwhelming task to complete. With Jake’s help, and the help of a couple more amazing people,
we were able to make quick work of it. By completing the task, we were able to allow the new
RN to start with one less task that needed to be caught up on.”
“By helping me, Jake treated me with RESPECT even though he had never met me
before. This allowed me to recover mentally from what I had pictured in my mind as
overwhelming and daunting. He is truly exceptional! Thank you, Jake, and keep up the great

Kristin Yang, House Manager at Azura Memory Care of Oconomowoc, truly puts
everyone ahead of herself and goes out of her way to ensure Azura RETAINs the finest team
members!
Her nominator said, “We had a new hire orientation today for 10 new hires and had some
scheduling conflicts. Kristin came to Brookfield with about an hour and a half notice to do the
new hire orientation so one of our other team members could cover the floor. This was huge as
the show needed to go on to get our new team members on board and we needed to make sure
the residents were taken care of!”

Mai See

Mai See Vang, Caregiver at Azura Memory Care of Wausau, “has been a wonderful
addition to the Azura team and always helps out whenever and wherever she is needed. She is
absolutely exceptional!” her nominator stated.
“I had asked Mai See to come in on a Saturday to help with the cooking. She accepted
without hesitation and came in and worked her shift. When I came in on Monday, I found out
that I had not scheduled a Med Passer that same Saturday that I asked Mai See to help out. Turns
out, she cooked, passed meds and helped with resident cares all morning. When I asked her why
she didn’t give me a call and tell me they needed help, she responded, “You already have so
much going on. I was there and knew the team needed my help to be successful.”
Mai See, we have retained the finest in you and cannot thank you enough for your
EXCEPTIONAL care and compassion towards everyone at Azura!!

“Sumiko does a wonderful job of keeping our homes spotless,” stated her nominator.
“She is so kind to residents, and today, she put down her broom and danced with some of the
ladies while we had live entertainment in the home. It was so sweet to see, and Sumi is such a
joy to work with.”
