The Neurological Rehabilitation program at Azura of Lakewood Rehabilitation Suites specializes in treating guests with acute neurological impairments such as: stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal injury, or neurologic disorders such as Guillain-Barre, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), and progressive supranuclear palsy. The physical, occupational and speech therapists work as a team to achieve improved function by stimulating neural connections and strengthening muscles weakened by nerve damage.

• Balance Training and Fall Prevention
